High School Team Tryouts

Overview for levels of play this spring and summer and how we will be determining the teams at tryouts. Gold expected to compete in top divisions (Platinum, Gold) Black expected to compete in lower divisions (silver, bronze).
Teams will play in roughly 8-10 tournaments from April 1st through July 20th. Exact weekends will be determined after roster composition to provide the best schedule for each individual team to challenge them appropriately. Local teams (Black) will play locally 7-8 times and travel to places like Cedar Rapids/Des Moines/Madison/Quad Cities during the season. ELITE teams (Gold) will require more travel in their schedule.
One team per division. Those teams will be determined by the following:
DCBA Gold Teams (National Team)
- NY2LA events - Regional to National
- Tournaments from April - July
- Play in all 3 of the live events (Indianapolis, Chicago, Milwaukee)
- Weekly practices & skills sessions.
- Regional to national level tournaments.
- Max college coach exposure.
DCBA Black Teams (Regional Team)
- Some NY2LA Events - Local - Independent Tournaments
- 8 tournaments from April - July
- Opportunity to play in live events depending on team roster strength (Indianapolis, Chicago, Milwaukee)
- Weekly practices & skills sessions.
- Focusing on developing roster strength.
