Program Overview
Little Dribblers is DCBA’s introductory basketball program designed for young athletes in 1st and 2nd grade who are ready to begin learning the game in a structured environment. The program focuses on fundamental skill development, basic game understanding, and building confidence through intentional instruction.
Sessions are designed to teach players how basketball works while keeping them engaged, active, and excited to learn in the gym.

This program is designed for players who are ready to be coached and want to develop a real foundation in the game and are interested in continuing on a path towards basketball success.
- Fundamental skill development (dribbling, passing, shooting)
- Important drills that will translate and travel with players through their playing careers
- Basic game concepts such as spacing, movement, and teamwork
- Learning how to listen, focus, and follow instruction
- Building confidence through repetition and game-like drills

Program Structure & Seasons
Little Dribblers is a seasonal-based program designed to provide young players with consistent, structured instruction throughout the year. Sessions are held every Monday during each season.
DCBA offers four seasons annually, each typically lasting 7–8 weeks, allowing families to participate in individual seasons or combine seasons for extended development.

- Fall: October through the holiday season
- Winter: Post-holidays through the end of February
- Spring: April through May
- Summer: June through July
Tuition & Package Options
- $250 per individual season
- $500 combo packages for families who choose to combine:
- Fall & Winter seasons, or
- Spring & Summer seasons
This structure allows families flexibility while also rewarding players who commit to longer-term development.
