Who We Are
DCBA is a grass-roots non-profit 501(c)3 within the city of Dubuque, IA. We give kids who love basketball a place to feel inspired, challenged, and part of a community they are proud of.
Each year over 500 kids participate in our programs, play hundreds of games, and travel the country, challenging themselves and each other to become better athletes, and community members.
DCBA provides every child with the opportunity to improve their basketball skills while developing confidence, discipline, and a passion for physical activity.

Courts, refs, flights, coaches, tournament fees, meals, uniforms, and equipment all have a cost. So for too many families, year-round basketball is out of reach. Not for of lack of passion, not for lack of skill, but for lack of money or travel resources.
For many of our kids, basketball is more than a sport, it's the key to unlocking lifelong opportunity, specifically through college scholarships and connections gained through the sport.
