DCBA’s High School AAU program brings together athletes from high schools across the region to compete in challenging environments, gain exposure through meaningful competition, and grow together as part of the DCBA basketball community.
Program Focus
The High School AAU season runs from March through July, aligning with the spring and summer competitive calendar. The focus is on preparing players to perform under pressure, contribute within a team setting, and continue progressing as both players and people.
Development remains the foundation of the program. Exposure is viewed as a result of consistent preparation, effort, and competing in the right environments, not a shortcut or guarantee.

College Preparation & Beyond
DCBA’s High School AAU program serves as a college-preparatory environment for athletes aspiring to play at the collegiate level. Through exposure-based competition, demanding practice standards, and accountability, players are supported as they work toward earning college basketball opportunities, including potential scholarship pathways.
Being part of the DCBA High School AAU community exposes athletes to a higher daily standard. Competing alongside motivated players from different schools and backgrounds challenges athletes to raise their level, expand their perspective, and grow beyond the pace of their school-season environment.
This shared experience helps players separate themselves through preparation, competitiveness, and consistency - accelerating development and creating habits that carry into high school seasons and college preparation.
